This lecture presents Matriarchiva and the INES framework as expanded approaches to archival practice, addressing the preservation of documentary collections through a feminist and intersectional lens. The talk reflects on the archive as a site of knowledge production, embodied memory, and critical historiography, engaging questions of conservation, access, and the politics of documentation.
The presentation was held at the Escuela Nacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museografía (ENCRyM), within the Aula Magna, as part of ongoing dialogues around archival methodologies and the challenges of safeguarding documentary heritage.
Special thanks to the Master’s Program in Conservation of Documentary Collections at ENCRyM, where I had the opportunity to work between 2014 and 2018.
